The original layout remained mostly unchanged in this home renovation. Simple wall adjustments and new Kitchen layout affords more storage and counter space. Opening walls and vaulting ceilings, with skylights, permits light penetration through the space and increase flow between rooms. Little luxuries such as heated floors and heated counter at eating bar were added for comfort. The warm oak flooring remained, and the stair handrail and built-ins were stained to match and to blend the old and new seamlessly.
