This renovation was driven by the need for a more functional, accessible layout—perfectly tailored for aging in place. The bathroom was enlarged by borrowing space from the primary bedroom, allowing for a curbless shower, built-in ledge seat, and discreet grab bar supports. Closet door heights were raised to align with transom windows, optimizing vertical storage without compromising aesthetics. The laundry area was reconfigured for smoother access, and the kitchen layout preserved to maintain existing hardwood while enhancing storage with roll-outs and custom cabinetry.
